He was talking to a girl at that club for awhile when she said,

HER: “Well, I’m getting tired. I think it’s time for me to go home.”

HIM:  “Go HOME?! I just met you. I’m not going HOME with you!”

HER: “No, I mean I’M going home. I’m tired.”

HIM: “Maybe you don’t hear me. I’m not going home with you, so don’t even ask anymore.”

HER: She said, “No, that’s not what I’m saying…”

HIM  “And besides, I’m sure my place is nicer than yours… so if anything, you’re coming home with ME.”

This went on and on for about an hour or so. And you guessed it, she went home with him.

YOU: “That’s an unusual looking dress you’re wearing. Was that made out of a shower curtain?”
HER: “Your mean! No, I bought this from the Old Navy store.” Key Words: Old Navy.

YOU: “Oh, so you’re in the Navy, huh?”

HER: “No silly. You know, the big store over at the Mall.” Key word: Mall.

YOU: “Oh, so you like going to the Mall and buying strange looking dresses do you? Do your girlfriends buy them also?”

HER: “My girlfriends are neat dressers and my dress is very popular I’ll have you know!” Key phrases: “girlfriends are neat dressers” and “dress is popular”.

YOU: “Well, if your girlfriends are neat dressers in a popular dress like you’re wearing then I’m going into the shower curtain clothing business…”

I know, this is a lame example but the lessons are this.

1) You start a conversation with however you want then pick out key words or phrases from what the
person says.

2) You repeat them in what you say then listen for new key words in there next response.

3) You add a little something new into the conversation REPEATING there words you’re using as
Key words or phrases. This tells them you’re listening, even though you’re turning things around to be c/f in this situation.

I’ve learned a secret to impressing women that I’m going to share with you in this newsletter. It’s a secret that probably not 1 in 1,000 men knows or will ever figure out on his own. The REASON that most men will never figure out this particular secret is that it’s TOO OBVIOUS.

Let me explain…

I personally think that most men feel a very powerful desire to IMPRESS women.

If you watch the way a man behaves when he’s talking to a woman he’s just met or a woman that he’s on a first date with, you can SEE IT. Maybe you’ve been there yourself. I know I have. Many, many times, in fact. The feeling that you need to impress a woman usually comes along with another feeling: DON’T
SCREW THIS UP.

Here are some of the signs that a guy is feeling the need to “impress” the woman that he’s talking to:

1) He tries to only say “cool” things, or things that will “impress” the woman.

2) He acts nervous and stilted during the conversation… sometimes coming across as “formal.”

3) He tries to figure out what the woman wants to hear.

4) If he says something that the woman doesn’t like, he “back-pedals” and tries to change what he said to suit the woman.

5) He doesn’t say anything “risky”, doesn’t tease the woman, and doesn’t do anything to upset her.

…in other words, when a guy is talking to a woman that he “likes”, he’s usually on his “best behavior”, and he’s trying to “put his best foot forward.”

To say it again, MEN FEEL A POWERFUL DRIVE TO IMPRESS THE WOMAN THAT THEY “LIKE.”

And this drive to impress often makes them act UNNATURAL.

THE SECRET

Remember at the beginning when I told you that I was going to share a secret with you about how to impress women that not 1 in 1,000 men will figure out on their own?

Well, here it is:

STOP TRYING.

If you will just STOP TRYING to impress women, and do the things I’m teaching you instead, women will NATURALLY be “impressed” by you.

TRYING TO IMPRESS A WOMAN DOESN’T IMPRESS HER.

So let’s break this down…

WHY IMPRESSING WOMEN IS THE WRONG ROAD

What’s wrong with trying to “impress” women, anyway?

To start with, EVERYTHING.

When you intentionally try to impress a woman, you send the following messages on a “subtle”
level:

1) I don’t think you’ll like me for who I am, so I will try to “impress” you instead.

2) I’m not comfortable enough around women to just act normal.

3) I don’t have a lot of experience with  attractive women.

4) I’m insecure.

5) I don’t know how to make women feel comfortable with me.

But it’s the truth.
Women can TELL INSTANTLY when you’re “trying.”

The conversation doesn’t feel “normal”, your body language is strange, and you can’t seem to have a regular conversation. Now of course, I’ve just described the way that about 99.9999% of men act when they’re first  talking to a woman that they “like.” Are you ready for a profound insight?

MOST MEN DO THIS WITH MOST ATTRACTIVE WOMEN MOST OF THE TIME. IN OTHER WORDS, IT’S OLD NEWS. IT’S BORING. IT’S PREDICTABLE. AND IT DOES NOT IMPRESS AT ALL.

The bottom line is that trying to impress a woman usually has the OPPOSITE effect.

It not only makes you look like a nervous guy who can’t make normal conversation… it also bores the hell out of women.

WHAT TO DO INSTEAD

OK, so you’re out having a cup of tea with a beautiful woman you just met a few days before…

She asks you what you do for a living. Should you answer with:

1) “Well, I’m an engineer for a software company that makes sophisticated vector widget plotting algorithms. I’ve been with them for three  years, and I’m about to be promoted to ALGORITHM MANAGER.”

2) “I do stunt work. Have you ever seen it in a movie when a hot actor has to reveal his naked ass? That’s my job.”

Well, it all depends on what your outcome is.

If you want to try and IMPRESS the girl with your cool high-tech job, then #1 will work just fine.

Unfortunately, it won’t impress her at all, and it will make you sound like a jackass who is trying to sound cool. If you want to ACTUALLY impress her, try #2.

Most men don’t have the BALLS to say something like this when a woman asks a “serious” question
like “What do you do?”. If you REALLY want to make a long-lasting impression, KEEP THE HUMOR GOING.

She’ll say “No, really… what do you do?”.

Answer with: “No, really. Haven’t you ever seen it when an actor needs a stunt ass? I mean hey… someone’s got to do it”.

Now, I can’t possibly go into all the reasons why it’s a HUGE MISTAKE to try to impress a woman, or to feel like everything you say should be “impressive.”

There are MANY reasons for this.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, there are a few things you can do that will INSTANTLY impress a woman… and I mean REALLY impress her.

But these things aren’t OBVIOUS.

The most IMPORTANT thing you can do to IMPRESS a woman is make her feel a powerful emotional ATTRACTION for you. This feeling will stay with her long after you have left and gone home.

And it’s the one thing that will make women pursue YOU… and try to impress YOU.

What’s the best way to do this?

Stop trying to IMPRESS women. Stop now.

“Can I get another waitress. I really don’t appreciate the way you have been staring at me like a piece of meat and trying to undress me with your eyes”.

Her jaw almost hit the ground. I then added,

“I will let it slide THIS time if my first drink is on YOU”.

You should have seen the look on my buddies faces when she came back, and of course, MY drink was free. After a few drinks we decided to leave and I didn’t even ask for her number or email, but low and behold, she came running to the door as we were leaving and handed me a slip of paper with her cell number on it. I said,

“this really doesn’t change anything. I’m still a bit annoyed with you but you can make it up by taking me to dinner sometime”.

She said no prob and that she was looking forward to it. She said she gets hit on ALL the time but most guys turn into jellyfish after 5 minutes and that I seemed so confident it was a HUGE turn on. My tip
to guys just starting out: Try your stuff out on waitresses.  In a few more weeks I will be
ordering your ebook and cant wait for a few more tips.

In short… I’ve been very successful at getting her to the date.   I’ve been very successful if the date goes well and we end up back at my place. However, my problem is making the date successful so that we DO end up back at my place.   More often than not, the date drowns in silence.

It sounds to me like you need to learn a few things:

1) The structure of comedy.

4) How to control your emotions better.

Go down to the bookstore for an afternoon and read some books on comedy and storytelling. Focus on learning about how and why big hit movies and TV shows are hits.

Learn about how different emotions, conflicts, and drama play together to make for RIVETING
stories.  There’s a way to make any story or conversation interesting, and you just need to learn more about it.

I’m also going to guess that something ELSE is happening that leads to a date “drowning in silence.”

Most guys begin to get uncomfortable at some point during a date. Maybe they sense that it’
time to move things to a physical level. Maybe they’re nervous and don’t know if a woman likes them… and they start to feel insecure.

I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

The point is that when most guys hit this point, they begin to let their emotions and insecurity get the best of them.

They begin to think “Uh, oh. I need to do something to impress her, or say something to make her laugh or she won’t like me.” This leads to all kinds of problems. If you begin to feel this kind of thing happening, it’s probably time to DO SOMETHING.

Get up, go for a walk, and move around.

Get out of the serious mode somehow.

Tell a funny story about something that happened to you when you were a kid.

Go to the store and look at magazines and make fun of famous people.

Just do whatever you have to, to get out of that mental and emotional rut!

The thing that determines whether a silence was”uncomfortable” or not is WHAT YOU DO AFTER THE
SILENCE IS OVER.

If you act cool and casual, then it won’t be a big deal.

If you act nervous and anxious, then it will KILL the mood.

Finally, you MUST learn to ADVANCE things physically when it’s time. If you don’t use the
material you learned in my eBook and especially the bonus booklet “Bridges”, then you’re going to
be fighting an uphill battle.

Most of the time, women expect the man to “make all the moves”, and you need to learn how to do that in such a way that it’s smooth and natural.

Go back and reread “Bridges”. It will help a lot.

But I have a question about eye contact…do you ever have to watch for when it’s appropriate?   An example would be last week when I was in a club. I was standing, and I turned around to face a cute girl who I immediately locked eyes with.  She wasn’t going anywhere, she was just standing.  But we were only abut a foot away from each other looking directly into each others eyes. I wasn’t even going to try to talk to her, because it was too noisy.  But I didn’t want to just stand there, a foot away from her face, just staring, ’cause I figured I would seem like a weirdo…so I just walked past her. What would you say to do in situations like this? Are there times when your rule about eye contact (not looking away until she does) isn’t appropriate? Is proximity to the girl your eye-locked with an issue?   Thanx again

The Answer

Let’s talk about eye contact, and what to do after you’ve made it.

Here’s the deal, there are a few things that are DEAD GIVEAWAYS to a woman that you’re a big-time Wussy, and not worth her time.

A few of them are:

1) Can’t maintain eye contact

2) Has slumped, submissive posture

3) Fidgets nervously

4) Gives away his power

5) Looks for attention and approval from others

Of course, there are quite a few more examples of LITTLE THINGS that women look for… to make QUICK DECISIONS about what kind of man you are… and INSTANTLY know whether or not you are worthy of a second thought.

Now, as you’ve heard me say a million times, these “decisions” all happen on an SUBCONSCIOUS LEVEL. Women don’t look at a man, then say to a friend, “Well, he maintained eye contact when I first looked at him, then he held his head up high in a dominant posture… so I’m going to give him a chance”.

DUH, no way.

It’s an INSTANT FEELING that women get.  They use these little body language cues to instantly size you up, then respond instantly. Now, you’re asking about a particular facet of eye contact… specifically, when you’re standing one foot away from her and it happens.

Your question leads me to believe that you think things must be different if you’re close to a woman… as if the rules should change if she’s closer than 4.35234 feet.   If anything, it takes MORE composure and inner strength to look a woman in the eyes if she’s standing a foot away.

In this case it’s even MORE important to not look away.

And what to say?

Try saying, “I just couldn’t help noticing you… {pause}… STARING at me…”

That’s funny.

Or say, “Do you always maintain such strong eye contact? Or only with guys like me that you can’t help it with?”

Try anything. You’re in the right place… I mean, you don’t even have to expend the energy to walk over and start a conversation!

Even “Hi” is better than walking away.

Once you get over your remaining fear of the unknown, and you realize that you’re in control of your life and your results, you’ll begin to realize that situations like these are GREAT opportunities

I honestly believe that FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN is one of the biggest obstacles that guys face with
women. It may sound silly, but most guys who are afraid to approach women really don’t know exactly
WHAT they’re afraid of. All they know is that they have an INSTANT fear come up whenever they think of walking up to a woman they don’t know and talking to her.

Of course, a “fear of the unknown” sounds like an easy thing to fix.

I mean, just realize that you don’t even know what you’re afraid of, and it should go away, right?

Sounds good, but it’s WRONG.

The fact is that this is a COMPLEX problem.

I’ve met guys who have gone to therapy for YEARS to get over fears… and it didn’t work. Now, I’m not a therapist or psychologist… but I do know one thing… I used to have this very same fear. I know EXACTLY what it feels like. But, the really weird part is that the thing that helped me get over it wasn’t anything that I expected. What helped me get past it, and helped me to start approaching women and getting emails and
numbers from women I didn’t know, was simply UNDERSTANDING what was going on… and then
KNOWING exactly what to do in each situation.

The PROBLEM that I had in the past was that I just didn’t “GET IT” with women. I didn’t understand what made them feel ATTRACTION for one guy while feeling NOTHING or even like RUNNING
AWAY from another guy. Now that I do “get it”, I have to say that it’s pretty damn interesting. But it’s not at all what I would have expected.   In fact, it took me a couple of YEARS of trying to figure it out to actually BEGIN to really understand how and why women feel that instant and magical ATTRACTION response for some guys… while most guys go their whole lives without women even noticing them.

But, once I DID get it, everything changed.

When on taking a phone call whilst with a girl

If I happen to get a phone call while Im around a girl Ive been talking to, Ill bring her up in the conversation w/ whoever called me, making some teasing comment about her loud enough for her to hear. She’ll usually give me a face, or flip meoff…so then I say to my friend on the phone, “yea, she likes me.”  So simple, yet they eat it up! 

When talking to girls who are walking behind

I’ll tell girls who are walking behind me to stop following me because Im getting that stalker vibe from them…and if they want to look at my ass that bad, they can take a snapshot of it for $4.99…as long as it’s for their personal enjoyment and not to show off to their friends.

When talking to a girl for a period of time

I also like to put a price on my time or presence. For instance, I’ll be talking to a girl for a little bit, then I’ll look down at my watch and say, “Okay, I talked to you for two minutes, AND I let you shake my hand…that’ll be twenty dollars, tip not included”. Then I’ll say that I really have to get going, and demand their phone number so I can “collect my money on a more convenient date.”

I love this way of communication…it makes girls attracted to you, and it’s so much more fun than the normal boring stuff.

Setting: A crowded Bar with lots of people eyeing this set of cute girls. I then, walked up, with everyone watching me and approached who I thought was the cutest.

Me: “Hi, my friend and I were talking, and we wanted a female’s opinion on something”.

Her: “OK”

Me: “I think that when you first approach a girl you should get her e-mail because it’s so hard to reach people these days. My friend, however, thinks that phone numbers are better. My question to you is what do you think?”

Her: *Smiling* I like phone number better, it’s more personable (She obviously doesn’t know about the e-mail, phone number technique)

Me: “How old are you?” (Like I’m qualifying her)

Her: Older than you…

Me: “Let me guess your age…48″

Her: *Laughing* No

Me: “Ummm….46″

Her: 23 (I’m 21, so don’t let age slow you down)

Me: “Listen, nice chatting, but I gotta run. Write down your phone number”

Her: Ok….**This completely threw me. Her FRIEND then grabbed a pen out of her purse, handed it to her, and looked for a napkin to write the number

Me: “How cute…you brought a secretary (referring to her friend)..does she pay you well? Ohh…I see… she buys you drinks”

**At this point, they were both laughing, she handed me the phone number, and I of course had to drill her.

Me: “Is this the number you actually answer.”.

Her: Yeah…and then she started to hand it to me.

**Her friend then grabbed it from her***

Her FRIEND: Let me make sure this is the number I call…umm…yeah this is it

There are two basic stories for how men and women “start off” together, and two basic stories
for how men and women “end up.” Through all of time, I’m sure that men and women have been playing out these stories… and I’m sure that they’ll continue to play them out long into the future (that is, unless I have something to say about it… and I do).

THE MEETING STORIES

Here’s “Meeting Story #1″:

Boy is attracted to girl. Unfortunately, boy doesn’t have a clue about how to make girl feel ATTRACTION for him… so, instead he tries to “pursue” girl by offering her dinners, gifts, and flowers. Girl finds boy “nice”, but there are no “sparks”, so she “just likes him as a friend.”

Here’s “Meeting Story #2″:

Boy is attracted to girl. Fortunately for him, boy understands ATTRACTION, and begins to communicate with girl in a way that makes her feel a powerful physical and emotional response for boy that she can’t control. The sparks fly, and boy and girl “get together.”

As I’m sure you know…

In story #1, GIRL is in total control of the situation and both of them know it.

In story #2, BOY is the one who’s in control of the situation.

THE STORIES OF HOW THINGS “END UP”

Let’s assume that somehow, boy and girl actually “get together”. Things usually go one of two ways after that…

Here’s “End Up Story #1″:

Boy and girl get together. Boy realizes that he “REALLY likes” girl. Boy begins to act more and more predictable. Boy starts to share “how he feels” about girl too often. Boy becomes more and more submissive. Girl loses that feeling of ATTRACTION that she once had for boy and has no way of explaining or understanding why. Girl leaves boy and boy is left wondering what happened.

Here’s “End Up Story #2″:

Boy and girl get together. Boy understands that no matter how much he likes girl, he cannot let himself become a Wussy who chases girl around “sharing how he feels” and becomes boring. Boy keeps the relationship interesting and he keeps challenging girl. Boy stays in control of himself, and by understanding his role as “The Man” in the relationship, keeps girl interested and attracted to him into the future.

And again, as I’m sure you know…

In story #1, GIRL is in total control of the situation and both of them know it.

In story #2, BOY is the one who’s in control of the situation.

If you look at your experience with women, I’m sure you’ll see that these short stories describe MOST of the experiences you’ve had. Now, of course there are slight twists and variations, but the message is clear:

ATTRACTION GOING YOU MUST UNDERSTAND HOW ATTRACTION WORKS FOR WOMEN… AND HOW TO KEEP THE WHEN YOU MEET A WOMAN YOU REALLY LIKE.

If you don’t understand ATTRACTION and how it works, then you are destined to keep playing out these same stories for the rest of your life. It’s very unlikely that you’ll stumble upon the “magic solution” by accident…

ATTRACTION IS DIFFERENT FOR WOMEN THAN IT IS FOR MEN – VERY DIFFERENT

The reality is that you CAN stop this negative pattern if you WANT to.

But the key is:

1) Understanding how ATTRACTION works for WOMEN.

2) Understanding YOURSELF, so you don’t ALLOW yourself to act like a Wussy, become boring and turn a good thing into a bad one… but instead you do the RIGHT things to keep everything on the right track.

If you know how to make a woman feel ATTRACTION for you, then you can control your destiny with
women. If you DON’T know how to make a woman feel ATTRACTION for you, then you cannot control your destiny with women.

Read that paragraph again, and think about it for a minute before you go on.

OK, so I mentioned that ATTRACTION is very different for women than it is for men.

Different how?

For a woman, ATTRACTION is a PROCESS… not an “event.” It happens over time, and it becomes stronger or weaker depending upon how well the man in the situation understands how it works.

For a man, ATTRACTION is much more of an “event”, meaning that it’s either there or it isn’t. It really doesn’t matter whether or not the woman understands how it works. (As an interesting side note, if a woman really knows how ATTRACTION works, and her intention is to manipulate a man, it usually works VERY well.)

So, think of a woman’s “Attraction Mechanism” more like a volume knob than a light switch.

It’s like a fantastic, classy old car that needs to warm up for a long time before you can drive it… not like a brand new Honda that you can start up and get right on the freeway with.

Here’s a little secret about women and ATTRACTION: If you’ll just take a little longer in every situation to AMPLIFY a woman’s ATTRACTION, she’ll love you for it… and you’ll experience rewards that will make the extra time you spent seem like the best investment of your entire life.

Here are a few specific tips for you for the
“Meeting Phase”:

1) Start with something STRONG, not WEAK.

When a guy finds a girl interesting, he usually turns into a ball of nervous mush. Then, he usually makes the mistake of letting the woman KNOW that he’s nervous and weak.

Don’t do it.

Do something STRONG.

Challenge her.

If she thinks that she’s cool, make fun of her. If she’s smart, argue with her a little. If she’s doing something, tell her that you could do it better.

When you PUSH a little, and show some BACKBONE, she’ll push back. That’s your sign that the GAME
IS ON.

If you just chase after her like the 100 other Wussies that have been bothering her this week, you will just be another boring, predictable face in the crowd.

2) Keep the TENSION UP.

One of my favorite concepts is “Never let the line go slack.”

This means that once you SPARK the “chemistry” or “sexual tension”, you need to KEEP IT UP.

Just because she starts doing things that hint to you that she’s interested, doesn’t mean that it’s time to STOP. Quite the opposite, actually. Turn UP the volume a little. It’s working, so do more! Sexual Tension is SO important that I’ve actually devoted an entire “language” and way of thinking about it. If you want to learn how to create Sexual Tension, then use it to really amplify ATTRACTION and arousal, then
take a minute and look at this:

3) Tease.

The word “tease” has a couple of meanings.

One of the meanings has to do with doing things that are slightly annoying to get a response from
someone.

The other meaning is subtly different and has to do with drawing out a response that you want by
doing certain things that indirectly trigger it.

Do both.

If you’re about to kiss her, wait until your lips are so close that you can almost feel her… and then STOP. Pull away, and smile.

If you want to know how she feels about you, say, “You LOVE me” in a condescending tone of voice, and see how she responds. If she says “NO I DON’T!” in an exaggerated, mocking way, then she probably DOES “love” you.

Teasing is fantastic. Do more of it.

And here are a few tips for the “End Up” phase:

4) Never become BORING.

Being predictable and boring is a cardinal sin when it comes to ATTRACTION.

Don’t do either.

Of course, telling a man not to be predictable is like telling a dog not to hump your leg. Most guys are PAINFULLY predictable. We LIKE being predictable, actually. I get it. But, when it comes to a woman you enjoy, you’d better figure out a way to STOP IT. There’s nothing that will kill the sparks faster than her knowing what you’re about to do or say.

5) Don’t hand over control.

Women like men who make decisions and take the lead. Now, I’m not saying that women like men who
are overly controlling. What I am saying is that women don’t like guys who are always saying things
like, “I don’t know, what do YOU want to do, baby?” Women don’t want men that they can control, so
don’t be one.

6) Respect yourself and keep your own interests.

When a guy meets a woman he likes, he often wants to spend as much time as possible with her. This is natural, of course. But there’s a big danger here as well. If you put your life aside for a woman, you
will become less interesting to HER. In the long run, it’s MUCH better to keep your friends, your interests, and your hobbies, and to spend time doing the things you enjoy… WITHOUT HER.

And I think it’s VERY important to keep improving yourself as a person, and continue to be a guy that she can look up to and respect.

As soon as you start acting like she’s going to be around forever, she’ll start feeling less and less ATTRACTION for you.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Now, as you read these examples, can you see the bigger picture forming? Can you see the deeper message? The deeper message is that you need to understand how ATTRACTION works for women and you need to do those things that keep the ATTRACTION BUILDING FOREVER.

Now, where does this all begin?

It begins with YOU.

And it begins with you learning how to control yourself and your emotions. It begins with you understanding the history of how and why men and women become attracted to each other. It
begins with you learning the basics of how to use subtle body language and communication to make
women feel ATTRACTION for you.

And what’s the best way to get this “in-depth” education?

You need to get some of your “Inner Game” issues handled, and you need to learn how to really get control of your emotional life. If this is you, then I recommend you check out my “Deep Inner Game” program.

2) These decisions are made “subconsciously,” meaning that women make all of them quickly and at a “gut level.”

3) If you know how, you make her feel attraction feelings rather than “friend” feelings.

4) The way to do it is to stop acting “nice” and start acting, well… something else… and I don’t mean “not nice.”

So what DOES attract women? And how do you do it exactly?

Good questions…

At the beginning, I mentioned three qualities:
Funny, Confident, and Mysterious.

Here are a few ways to use this idea:

1) When you first meet a woman, tease her about something. It doesn’t matter what it is, as long as you do it early on. For instance, you might say: “So what’s with the big purse? Are you carrying a gun in there?” or maybe “Those are some pretty tall shoes, what are you like 4′ tall without them?” If you tease a woman, it shows that you’re not intimidated by her, and that you have a fun sense of humor. KEY: Make sure you say something FUNNY. If you don’t know how to be
funny, get a book on it. The test: If she’s not laughing, then it wasn’t funny!

2) Look around at other things and seem kind of pre-occupied when you first start talking to her. Make your funny remarks with a carefree, detached tone. You want to sound like you’re talking to your best friend. Attractive women are approached all the time. It’s not attractive to a woman when you look like you’ve just met Madonna. This “just a little too confident” attitude is very attractive to women… especially when it’s combined with humor.

3) Don’t answer her questions directly.
